Healing the Children - Florida/Georgia Chapter operates on a modest cash budget, with most of the operating budget being met with in-kind donations. In 1998, The Xerox Foundation generously donated the services of an executive full time for one year to bring Healing the Children - Florida, Inc. through the start-up phase. That contribution alone was valued at over $100,000. In 1999 and 2000 The Xerox Foundation supported Healing the Children again with a cash contribution, becoming our first corporate sponsor.

Soon after, other corporations and foundations joined the Healing the Children family and have made major contributions to help HTC provide care to medically needy children. Individual contributions, corporate and foundation grants and special events provide the funds necessary to operate Healing the Children.

In 2004, the Annual Operating Budget of Healing the Children was $107,193, which translated to $1,500,000 in donated medical care for needy children. Quite a return on investment!
