Welcome to the Florida/Georgia chapter of Healing the Children.

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing donated healthcare to children in need. Healing the Children envisions a world where every child has access to medical care, regardless of ability to pay, insurance status and physical location.

Nearly 19 percent or 797,000 children in Florida do not have health insurance. Expert expect the  number to rise due to current lay offs and rising insurance cost. There has never been a greater need for an organization such as Healing the Children.  It’s hard to believe that a child living in our community could die because he does not have health insurance to cover a life-saving surgery, but it happens everyday. Healing the Children FL-GA helps children around the globe but the vast majority of children that we serve are from our local community.
